At this meeting, a representative from Heyer & Gruel Associates presented to the
Mayor and Council a Master Plan which was commissioned by the Town of Harrison.
It was previously adopted by the Planning Board and the Mayor and Council will vote
on ordinances that the Master Plan suggests at the February meeting (2/7/08 @
7:00pm) (this will be the first reading of the ordinances).
Many of the suggestions that the Plan offers are excellent. I have read the Master
Plan, and I implore the Mayor and Council to implement the suggestions it offers as
soon as possible as I think the plan's proposals are things that need to be address
in Harrison.
If you would like to read the Master Plan, please drop me an e-mail and I will be more
than happy to lend it to you.
No formal action was taken at this meeting, however, when the presentation and
discussion concluded, the Mayor entertained a motion to go into a closed session,
thus concluding the video taping of the meeting.
